Bob Hughes

Bob Hughes is a communications coach and public relations consultant whose work is based on a thorough understanding of the media, and professional presentation.

He was on air in Sydney for 21 years, including 11 years on high rating commercial stations (2WS, 2MMM-FM, and 2Day-FM) and for 10 years on Australian Broadcasting Corporation's respected radio outlet 2BL.

He is a frequent public speaker, presenter and has been for many years an Australia Day Ambassador.

Bob spent 10 years writing a weekly page for The Sunday Telegraph, Australia's largest selling newspaper.

For 20 years he has been a professional voice over artist represented by Sydney's leading agency, RMK. This has involved him in many multi-media projects, as well as radio and television commercials.

As a presentation trainer for ABC Radio over 7 years he worked extensively with on air and management personnel to improve their communication skills.

He has successfully completed courses in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, NLP, Commercial Mediation and Facilitation. He has passed the Public Relations Institute of Australia accreditation examination.

Bob has trained senior executives with CPA Australia, Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, and Elanco, among many others. He regularly trains media presenters for the Australian Film Television and Radio School, at On Camera Connection, and the Ian MacRae Radio School.

He represents the Olivier Recruitment Group's Internet Job Index in media relations, and appears as a media commentator on SkyNews.
